Why Participate In The Arts?
There are countless benefits of engaging in the arts. Not only do they provide the opportunity to develop technical skills, but participating in the arts also cultivates a child’s emotional awareness and self-expression. When done in a safe and encouraging environment, the arts – no matter what medium is used – allow for experimentation, expression, and discovery, which foster confidence, creativity, and problem solving.

Do you offer programming for children with special needs?
Absolutely! We feel that the arts are a wonderful opportunity for children of all abilities to express themselves. We have some programs designed specially for exceptional children. For all of our programming, we strive to have an inclusive environment and would love to work with you and your exceptional child to find a program where they can shine!
How do I register for classes?
To ensure every child has the best experience possible we like to either meet or talk to parents before registering so we can recommend the best program and, in some cases, adapt the program to their needs. This means that we can only take registrations by phone (519-206-2787), email (email@example.com) or in person.
What if my child doesn't like the program they register for?
Our monthly drop in nights are a great way for your child to get an experience of our programs before they register and we also go to great lengths to ensure that they are well matched to the program they are registering for. In the unlikely event they don't enjoy the program for some reason just let us know as early in the program as possible so we can discuss what options are available.
Is Arts Abound peanut-free?
Arts Abound is an allergy friendly environment. Our allergy strategy includes measures to reduce the risk of an allergic reaction and to be prepared in the case of an emergency. If your child has an allergy, please be sure to notify the staff at Arts Abound so that we can put measures in place to protect him/her. However, with a growing number of children with serious nut allergies, we ask that you do not send snacks that have peanuts or tree nuts with your child to Arts Abound.
