Explore the world of theatre and drama in one of Arts Abound's Acting Classes. Through theatre games, improvisation, storytelling, scene studies, and more, students will discover their creativity and imagination and have an opportunity to truly express themselves. In addition to developing their skills as actors, students will work together on a final production that they will share virtually at the end of the term.

Art Explorers – Music and Dance
Dance, Music, Toddler, Preschool, Junior Kindergarten, Senior Kindergarten, Grade 1, Grade 2
Explore the arts at Arts Abound! Designed for younger students, Art Explorers is the class to introduce your children to the arts. Each class includes a variety of age appropriate music, movement, and dance activities. Students will be introduced to a variety of musical and dance styles in a fun and encouraging environment. With a focus on enjoying and appreciating the arts, classes will build on emerging skill and begin to introduce students to basic theory and technique in both dance and music.

Piano, Senior Kindergarten, Grade 1, Grade 2, Grade 3, Grade 4, Grade 5, Grade 6, Grade 7, Grade 8, Grade 9+
Let your child discovery the joy of the piano with piano courses at Arts Abound. These innovative group classes have been designed to build an appreciation for the piano while developing a strong foundation in theory, technique, and ear-training. Divided into three series of courses, there is a piano course for everyone!
PRIMARY PIANO - SK to Grade 2
Introduce your child to the piano with Primary Piano! Designed for young beginners (SK to Grade 2), this series of 4 courses will introduce children to piano basics through a variety of individual and group activities that focus on developing an appreciation for the piano in a fun and encouraging setting. Each class will include a group lesson, interactive theory, ear-training, and technique activities, and some 1:1 time working on piano repertoire.
KOLLABORATIVE KEYS - Grade 2 to 5
Designed for players in Grade 2 to 5, this innovative series of 8 courses builds a strong foundation in theory, ear-training and technique through interactive activities, fun repertoire, and opportunities to create and share music. In each class, students participate in group and individual activities as they build their skill and confidence as a musician. Whether just starting on the piano or coming with a few years of experience, there is a Kollaborative Keys course for you!
POPPIN' PIANO - Grade 5+
Has your child always wanted to learn how to play the piano, but thought it was too late to start? Why not try Poppin' Piano! This beginner course takes a pop approach to piano lessons that has your child playing the songs they want to play. With a focus on building confidence at the piano, students will learn about chords, develop basic technique, theory and ear-training skills.

Sewing, Grade 2, Grade 3, Grade 4, Grade 5, Grade 6, Grade 7, Grade 8
Introduce your child to the joys of using their hand to create something unique in Stitch by Stitch. Throughout the term, students will have the opportunity to complete a variety of hand sewing projects that develop new skills in a fun and encouraging environment.

Studio to Stage Virtual Productions
Theatre, Acting, Dance, Music, Grade 1, Grade 2, Grade 3, Grade 4, Grade 5, Grade 6, Grade 7, Grade 8
Studio to Stage is a full year program that takes students through the entire process of creating a virtual musical. Over the course of the year, students will work together to bring their production to life! In addition to learning their music, choreography, lines and developing their character for the production, students will take part in workshops and lessons that focus on developing their acting skills and vocal technique. After learning their parts online, students will be brought into the studio to record their parts in front of a green screen. Each session will end with an edited virtual production of their musical that students can share with family and friends. Ukulele, Grade 1, Grade 2, Grade 3, Grade 4, Grade 5
Learn to play one of the most popular instruments in one of Arts Abound's ukulele classes! Exploring a variety of styles of music, students will develop basic ukulele skills and learn to sing along as they strum. Students must have their own ukulele to participate in this class. Visual Arts, Junior Kindergarten, Senior Kindergarten, Grade 1, Grade 2, Grade 3, Grade 4, Grade 5, Grade 6, Grade 7, Grade 8
Help your child discover their creative side with a visual arts class at Arts Abound. With a focus enjoying art for arts sake, students will explore a variety of different styles and mediums of art. Divided into two series of courses, there is a visual art course for everyone!
SHAPE, DOODLE & PAINT - JK to Grade 2
Shape, Doodle & Paint is designed to nurture budding artistic abilities! Young artists will be encouraged to flex their visual art muscles as they explore the elements of art in new and exciting ways - through pencil, paper, pastel, ink, paint, glue, scissor and more! Children will grow in their self-confidence and creative thinking while working with a wide variety of mediums. With this introductory program, the sky’s the limit to what your child can create!
EMERGING ARTIST - Grade 3 to 8
Emerging Artists is designed to inspire a growing interest in art and to build on skills in sketching, painting, collage and mixed-media. The class is designed to create a time and place where young artists can come together, express themselves and develop their own artistic awareness and techniques.

Develop your child’s love of music and singing with vocal classes at Arts Abound!
BROADWAY STARS - SK to Grade 3
Sing and dance just like the stars on Broadway! Broadway Stars is a fun and engaging musical theatre program that introduces students to many different musical theatre styles that encourage self-expression, build confidence, and help them discover their inner star! Each class will include 30 minutes of vocal training and 30 minutes of dance where they will add choreography to the songs they learned.
SINGING STARS - Grade 3 to 8
Singing Stars is designed to enhance the musical and creative expression of all students. Throughout the semester, students will learn different styles of music, while practicing their vocal skills through fun music games, activities and exercises. In addition to developing their voice, students will be introduced to the art of song writing and have the opportunity to write their own song using fun online music technologies.

Exceptional, Grade 1, Grade 2, Grade 3, Grade 4, Grade 5, Grade 6, Grade 7, Grade 8, Grade 9+
Our Arts For All Community has become an important opportunity for individuals to connect on a weekly basis. Designed for children living with exceptional needs, our Arts For All class includes a variety of art experiences that are adapted to the unique needs of each student to provide them an opportunity to express themselves. While classes are being offered online, each class includes a variety of developmentally appropriate music, movement, and dance activities. With a focus on enjoying and appreciating the arts, classes will build on emerging skills in music and movement.
