    CAMP POLICIES

PLEASE REVIEW ALL THE CAMP POLICIES BEFORE REGISTERING:

    MASKS
To reduce the spread of COVID-19, masks will be required for anyone entering Arts Abound.  Students, staff, and volunteers must wear their mask for the duration of the camp day.  Masks may be removed in the washrooms and when eating (while socially distanced).  Nutrition breaks will be taken outside weather permitting.

    VACCINATIONS
As an inclusive space that offers programs for vulnerable populations, Arts Abound is required to have a vaccination policy. We are committed to offering a safe and inclusive environment for the most vulnerable in our community.  All eligible (ages 5+) staff, volunteers, inclusion support, and participants will be required to show proof of vaccination to participate in activities.  All individuals ages 5+ will be required to show proof of full vaccination on the first day of camp.  Campers who are unable to show proof of full vaccination will be removed from camp WITHOUT REFUND.

Arts Abound recognizes the need for time between doses to become fully vaccinated and offers grace periods on a case-by-case basis for campers turning 5.  Exceptions to the vaccination policy will only be made for documented medical exemptions and will require regular testing at the expense of the participant.

DISCLAIMER:  This mask and vaccination policy does not supersede any provincial vaccine mandates and will be updated to reflect any changes introduced by the provincial government

    CAMP DEPOSITS
non-refundable and non-transferable deposit of $50 is required for each child you are registering for each week of camp you are registering for (i.e., $50 for Art Explorers Camps and $100 for Studio to Stage Camps).  The remaining camp balance is due June 1, 2022.

    CAMP CANCELLATIONS
Camp reservations cancelled before June 1, 2022 will receive a credit (less the non-refundable deposit) on your account.  Credits can be used towards any program at Arts Abound for up to 1 year after it is issued.  Cancellations received after and including June 1, 2022 will only receive a credit (less the non-refundable deposit) if their camp space can be filled. Camps cancelled by Arts Abound due to COVID-19 (by provincial mandate or public health guidelines) will receive a full refund.

    DECLARATION OF SPECIAL NEEDS
Arts Abound strives to provide an inclusive camp environment.  Communication with the staff at Arts Abound is imperative to create a safe and inclusive camp environment for everyone.   Arts Abound reserves the right to remove a child from camp, without refund, if any special needs have not been declared at the time of registration and/or the level of care and supports required was not accurately communicated.

    UNMANAGEABLE, INAPPROPRIATE AND DANGEROUS BEHAVIOUR
Arts Abound reserves the right to remove a child from camp, without refund, if their behaviour or the behaviour of their parent(s) is deemed to be unmanageable, inappropriate, and/or is dangerous to themselves or others, in which case the camper will be sent home immediately. Bullying, in any form, will not be tolerated.

If you have any questions about the registration process please feel free to email info@artsabound.ca.
